Dr. Gyan Prakash Thackeray, a young and dynamic martial arts expert and versatile personality from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India, is an inspiration to many young people who want to achieve success in the field of sports and social work. He learned many martial art styles, including Israeli Self Defence “KRAV MAGA,” Filipinos Defence “KAALI MARTIAL arts,” Southern Chinese Kung Fu close-quarters system of Self Defence “WING CHUN,” and many more. He also learned pistol shooting and became the state co- ordinator of the UP Pistol Shooting Game.
Career Development:
Dr. Gyan Prakash’s career as a martial arts expert and sports personality started when he became the Chief of Lucknow Mandal Aashiana Sport Karate Federation of UP. He also became the Chief of Lucknow Mandal Mix Martial Art Khel Sangh. Dr.Gyan Prakash’s popularity and success in the field of martial arts and sports grew rapidly, and he soon became the National President of the Justice & Rights Committee. He was also awarded an honorary doctorate for his outstanding work in the field of sports and social work.
Social Work:
Dr. Gyan Prakash Thackeray has also trained thousands of girls/women in self-defence training. He has also worked with the police special operational group. He has organized many seminars, free legal aid programs with his legal associates of the organization and also organized the program in different- different slum areas upon the awareness of the constitutional & human rights of the citizens and does workshops on advanced martial arts and self-defence training.
